Privacy

Short version: your photos never leave your device. No cookies, no tracking, no account.

Your photos

When you check or crop a photo, it's opened and measured inside your browser, on your phone or computer. It isn't sent to us or to anyone else, and we never store it. When you close the page, it's gone.

This isn't just a promise. The site tells your browser that it may only connect to our own server (connect-src 'self'), and the only thing it sends there is the anonymous count below. You can check it in your browser's developer tools, in the Network tab. The face detection models are served by our own site too.

Anonymous counts

To know whether the site is useful, we count events such as "a visa photo was checked" or "the price button was clicked". Each count contains only the day, the event, the page language and, for a check, whether it passed. No IP address, no identifier, no cookie, nothing about your photo. We keep the counts for 13 months.

Our host

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare's servers see your IP address and browser type to deliver the page. We don't store them.

If you email us

We use your message only to answer you, and delete it 12 months after the conversation ends. Our mailbox is hosted by Gmail (Google).

Payments

Payments aren't open yet, so we collect no payment details. This page will be updated before they open.

Your rights and contact

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or withdraw your consent. In practice, we hold nothing about you unless you email us.

Person in charge of personal information: Brett.Lamouche.Web@gmail.com.

In Quebec, you can complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information; elsewhere in Canada, to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
